For more than four decades, CiShan Zhou has been the devoted steward of a serene five-acre tea garden nestled in the misty mountains of Huangshan, Anhui. His life’s work reflects a deep harmony with nature — cultivating the land with patience, reverence, and craftsmanship passed down through generations.
Each spring, he hand-harvests the tender leaves that mark the start of his meticulous tea-making ritual. His mastery comes to life in two signature creations: the exquisite Taiping Houkui and the delicate Huangshan Maofeng — teas that capture both the soul of the mountain and the spirit of the maker.
For Mr. Zhou, tea is more than a craft; it is a lifelong dialogue with the earth, written in the language of leaves and time.
